How much does it cost to set up a Escape Velocity hold file?
There is a one-time set up fee of $5.00.

How much will I save?
  • You save money on all the comics you order each month:
    • Order up to 10 comics a month and get 10% off,
    • Order 10 or more comics a month and get 15% off.
  • You save 10% on all trade paper-backs you order
  • You save 10% or more off all other merchandise you order (t-shirts, graphic novels, action figures, etc.)
  • You also get:
    • 10% off of collector's supplies (bags, boards & boxes)
    • 10% off of all new comics, trade paper-backs and hard-cover books off the shelves

You will also be able to take advantage of members-only sales, and have access to other members-only specials.

(Note: All DVD's, action figures, statues, PVC sets and other toys and merchandise on the shelves are already priced well below retail price. No additional discounts are offered on these items, except during special sales)

How does this work?
It's simple!

  1. Each month, you scan the Previews catalog to find items you want. This catalog lists all of the items that will be published 2 months from now.
  2. Fill out an order form to tell us which titles to pre-order for you. Please place your order online.
  3. New comics arrive about 8 weeks after they are ordered. New items arrive in the store every Wednesday. Shipping lists are emailed weekly.
  4. Come in to the store as often as you like to check your file and pick up any new arrivals.
    Note: You must purchase items that you order in a timely fashion. Items that sit in your hold file for more than 60 days without being purchased may be sold to someone else.

  • You get only what you order each month: there is no obligation to subscribe to titles you may not want later.
  • You do not pay for any item until it arrives in the store for you to purchase it (Exception: for items that cost $100.00 or more, such as statues, a 50% down payment is required.)

Can I have my comics shipped to me?
